I’m Nancy Gilbride and I’m grateful you’ve stopped by.  I’d love to personally introduce you to who we are and what we do at GCG. 

A Passion for Pharmacy and Patient Care 

My journey began as a pharmacist, driven by a deep passion for ensuring patients receive the medications they need to live healthier lives. I entered the pharmacy benefits management (PBM) industry at its inception—growing alongside it and shaping its evolution. 

I was part of Express Scripts’ very first acquisition in 1998 and spent nearly two decades leading teams, integrating acquisitions, designing clinical services, and driving strategic growth. Through a disciplined, process-oriented approach, I helped build solutions that transformed healthcare delivery. 

Serving Those Who Serve 

One of the greatest honors of my career was leading the U.S. Department of Defense TRICARE Pharmacy program for 13 years—winning and implementing four separate contracts for Express Scripts. I also led major healthcare programs for public sector clients, fueling my second career passion: improving healthcare access, delivery and savings for our nation’s military, veterans, and government agencies at every level. 

Building Partnerships That Drive Growth 

Beyond strategy and operations, I believe success comes down to partnerships. Collaboration isn’t just a buzzword—it’s the foundation of market growth and customer retention.  Throughout my executive leadership roles at Express Scripts, Centene, and Elevance/CarelonRx, I’ve led market-facing teams dedicated to delivering solutions, fostering innovation, and building lasting relationships with customers.

We’ve built and scaled complex programs, helped organizations grow, and educated countless stakeholders on the evolving PBM landscape.
